We love sharing with you on the JMPR team, what goes on behind the scenes and a peek into the world of fashion PR.

Here we introduce you to one of our account managers – Dani Bossenger. And, go!

How would you describe yourself in three words?

I can’t do that in three words! I like to think of myself as a creative thinker, genuine and consistently learning and growing.

What’s the best part of your job?

Working in an agency that is exposed to such unique and diverse brands and working on a variety of different brands – it keeps our days exciting and our roles challenging!

We know you love Jozi, two things to do in Jozi now?

Definitely Rockets Lolita’s on a Sunday for a rooftop vibe and the Flamingo Room never gets old, millennial pink for the win!

I start my day with…

Insert coffee to begin…

I’m currently reading

Leave Your Mark :Diary of the DKNY PR girl. This is a great read for anyone starting out their career in any industry but particularly relevant to the fashion industry, with key insiders and mentorship tips.

I am currently obsessed with?

Unraveled Yoga on Bree Street – think yoga flow with an urban edge and the instagram account: Words of Women  – inspiring and motivational content all centered around influential women.

On my wishlist:

The Black Signature Backpack from Kenzo at Maison Mara the it-bag of the season!

The Jota-Kena Classic Black Shirt  – the classic black shirt is downplayed but I feel like this is such a wardrobe staple piece!

A Tilone fash illustration tee – they will be available to shop at Jackie’s next Salon58 and I will definitely be purchasing one!

The PICHULIK Sabi Pearl Pendant – elegant yet simple which speaks of my style!

We work with creatives, influencers and trailblazers – who have you got your eye on?

Internationally I always have my eyes on Lucy Williams, I am kind of obsessed! Whether it’s her growing Missoma jewellery collection or her Fashion Me Now website. Take a look here

Locally, I love Lulama’s style and Kenny Morifi-Winslow’s Instagram aesthetic

How can someone who is interested in PR get a head start? Any advice?

I think it’s important to remain relevant and know what is happening locally and globally in terms of trends in influencer marketing, fashion and social/ consumer trends. Along with this knowledge, applying for internships with brands/ agencies you love is a great way to get stared –  experience is key.

Anything special about working with an all girl team?

Working with a group of inspiring women who are all unique, I feel like I can learn something different from each member of our team.
