Meet Maybe. Yes, her name is really Maybe. She’s Italian and you can tell by her impeccable eye for detail and absolute love of fashion. Or by her accent and the way she waves her hands about and gets overexcited. She can smell a designer piece a mile off and when it comes to cooking… well, like any Italian she is passionate about it and it shows.

Meet Maybe and you’ll wish you were Italian. ELLE welcomed her into their fashion closet in 2012 and one year later SHE went from intern to editorial assistant. I love her style, I love her heart and just because she knows her stuff I asked her to dish five things that are on her radar.

Statement boots

I spotted these boots on & Other Stories, an online shopping site. (Bookmark it now!) The minute I laid eyes on them I tried to find a reason why I needed them. They are perfect. Inspired by Céline’s autumn/winter collection for 2013/14, these high-heeled ankle boots have a clean, simple design and I love the dark red colour. The stacked leather heel is very now.

3 easy steps to ice cream that is dairy-free

Would you believe me if I told you that ice cream is totally doable? Even for an amateur in the kitchen and that you can whip this up in two minutes with just two ingredients. I love it not just because it’s easy but tastes great and is healthy!

You will need:

2 bananas

1 tbsp nut butter

Take two medium-sized bananas, peel them and put them in the freezer.

Once frozen, take them out and chop them up. Put them in a blender with a tablespoon of your favourite nut butter (I love almond butter.)

Blend well for 1 – 2 minutes or until smooth. If it’s too dry to blend properly, add a little soya or almond milk.

Freeze and voila… you have the creamiest, tastiest and easiest ice cream. Enjoy!

One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.

Foodily app for iPhone

I love fashion and I love food. Foodily is my inspiration. It’s actually the world’s biggest social recipe network: you get to share your own recipes and be inspired by millions of foodies.

Tip: Don’t browse the app on an empty stomach – the content and visuals will have your tummy growling!

Available from iStore here

And then I just have to throw this one in:

Style.com application for iPhone here

This app is a must for fashion lovers. Style.com updates you on all the international fashion shows as they happen! It’s super user-friendly and includes Tommy Ton’s amazing street style. It’s a considered edit for fashion on the go!
